About Johnny’s

75 Years of Keeping Southern New Mexico Flowing

Since 1950, Johnny’s Septic has helped homeowners, businesses, and communities throughout Southern New Mexico solve wastewater challenges with honest service, experienced operators, and a commitment to doing the job right.

We’ve been here a long time.

Some Things Change. Some Things Don’t.

When Johnny Suggs came to Las Cruces in 1950, the city looked a lot different than it does today.

He built Johnny’s Septic one customer at a time, earning a reputation for showing up, doing the job right, and treating people fairly.

Over the decades we’ve watched neighborhoods grow, businesses expand, and entire communities develop across Southern New Mexico.

Seventy-five years later, those same values still guide every job we do.

Our Story

Three Generations. One Commitment.

Johnny Suggs brought his family to Las Cruces and started building Johnny’s Septic Company from the ground up.

1950

His son, Wayne Suggs, joined the business and helped expand our services across southern New Mexico.

1960

Danny Suggs came aboard while still in high school — working after school and on weekends before making Johnny’s Septic his career.

1976

Three generations later, we continue to invest in people, equipment, and training so we can serve our community better than ever.

Built By People Who Care About The Work

Johnny’s Septic has never been a call center. It isn’t a franchise. And it isn’t a company that showed up a few years ago looking to make a quick buck.

It’s a family business built on relationships, where many of the people answering the phones, dispatching trucks, operating equipment, and serving customers have spent years—sometimes decades—building their careers here.

That kind of experience can’t be manufactured.

Wastewater Is All We Do

Some companies offer septic work as just one of many services.

For us, wastewater has been our entire business for more than 75 years.

From residential septic systems to commercial facilities, grease traps, lift stations, advanced treatment systems, RV parks, mobile home communities, and municipal wastewater infrastructure, we’ve built our company around one thing: helping customers manage wastewater safely, reliably, and efficiently.

That’s what we’ve been doing since 1950.
